John is an avid photographer, who has had a keen interest in this field for many years. He took courses in high school and in college, and along the way...over the years; has used his acquired knowledge and applied it to create unique images in individualistic ways. He uses spontaneity in his methodology for capturing an image, as well as careful planning in the composition. He also enjoys using filtration to enhance or alter an image's appearance, and expressing it in a different way. As a matter of fact, he has adopted this technique as a primary method of presenting his photographs.
He has taken advantage of improving and advancing technology to more easily and readily illustrate the myriad of ways an image can be presented. When a photographer shoots a subject in the conventional way, he or she uses composition and exposure to obtain the image. That composition is the primary purpose in shooting that shot. However, by using different effects, the effect can become the focus as much as the composition. He's always seeking newer subjects to present, both from a distance and more up close. There's another world that begs to be captured and shown to the world. And he strives for the greatest expression of creativity that he can produce, that which will elicit this response from the viewer: "wow!!!"
